Contribute Feedback Was OpenTable Diner at The Dolphin Hotel a mag?
What an easy night out great food, airy, beachy setting in the restaurant, fantastic service and excellent atmosphere. The bar was really noisy but not much you can do about that at 7pm on a Friday night. So given we were catching up with friends getting to the restaurant at 8.15pm was a relief as we could chat properly. Will definitely be back. View all feedback.
What OpenTable Diner dislikes about The Dolphin Hotel:
Great food, and if nothing on the wine list takes your fancy, just ask you can also choose from the much more extensive list from the Wine Room next door. Service was very pleasant knowledgeable however either they were short staffed or just unobservant, as were left for long periods without service. One thing to note is that the noise levels made it difficult for our group of 4 to hear each other across the table. View all feedback.
Once again fatty burgers appreciation society has paved the way through the hustle and bustle of a busy Saturday night in Surry hills to an absolute quality
The recent renovations give the illusion this place is very nice, however everything seems to be covered in a thick plastic - that is the entire bench
Wow! I cannot believe how kind is Luke and the Team at the Dolphin Hotel.
We went on a Friday night and the place was bustling. We were met by a lovely girl on the door who despite the bustle find time to direct us to the pubs wine bar. Glad she did we had an amazing experience. The food and wine was exceptional, we asked for recommendations from the staff as the menu as well as pizza's etc had some really interesting choices. A lovely french waitress helped us with our order and really chose well. Must mention our wine waiter James he really took us on a journey as with the menu the wine list is eclectic, down to earth and genuine really knowledgeable service. Interestingly they chill all their wines reds as well news to us was great. A real gem. Check our the wine bar look forward to going back and checking the rest of the place.
Saturday late lunch. How hard is it to get crisp, hot chips and a burger that isn't soggy on the bottom and a Caesar salad that had the smallest bits of fatty bacon I've seen (2)When this place opened the food was good and it seems to have gone down hill ever since. If you've seen what I have written in the past I try not to bag a place as I know how hard it is to put food on a plate and please people but sometimes they need to know. Get the staff of their phones (there are plenty of staff especially in the kitchen and thus my frustration) deliver meals from the kitchen quickly and with purpose and maybe a wine list that won't break the Reserve Bank. I don't mind paying but mate how about some value. Look forward to this PUB getting back on track! In the meantime, whoever gave this place a hat ,get out and revisit others that are more deserving.
