Stopped by for a kebab after the football. There was a bit of a wait. A wait well with it. My kebab was so fresh, so tasty. The reason for the wait is that the dough for the wrap is being cooked, not just warmed. Sauces and hummous were also full of flavour. Awesome! View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Erciyes Restaurant:
We were there with the family few nights ago celebrating. We ordered their banquet and we paid 55 dollars each. For 275 dollars we received couple of plates of salad, one plate with few dips, a plate of kebab with yoghurt, bread, 3 pide and a plate with no more than 100g of rice and some mixed meat (total weight of the meat no more than 300grams). Pretty average, no exciting interiors, no modern plates and serving di... View all feedback.
This is without a doubt the top spot for Turkish Pide in Sydney. The rainbow dips are also fantastic for dipping your pide into. My go-to order is the sausage, spinach, cheese, and egg combination. I am eagerly looking forward to returning here again.
Mar17 Ordered the beef Iskender. It was pretty delicious.the quantity was insane and I actually had to do a take away . The bread alone was a meal by itself . The takeaway section is almost like a different restaurant
This Turkish restaurant is hands down my favorite place to eat. The grilled dishes are absolutely delicious and always cooked perfectly. It's hard to choose just one, so I usually go for the mixed grill. The dips are fantastic, especially the hummus and chili combo. The iskender is unbeatable here, I've never had it better anywhere else. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant makes for a relaxing evening out, especially when there's a belly dancer entertaining the crowd. She's so interactive and enjoyable to watch while enjoying my Saturday night meal.
I tried the recommended dips based on a friend's suggestion. The staff was friendly and allowed me to sample their dips before choosing. The hommus and baba ganoush (eggplant) were both exceptional - I couldn't pick a favorite. I will definitely come back to try the other dips and the kebab. The homemade dips were delicious and I couldn't stop eating them.
I love Turkish food and I have eaten a fair bit of it this year. ERCIYES is the OG and has been my favourite since 2001. My only gripe is I don’t live around the corner anymore and it’s too far to get my regular pide fix. I need more excuses for dinners in the Redfern/ Surry Hills area.
