Prince William Dining Room @ The Loyalist Country Inn

We were delighted to get such wonderful food in our hotel dining room...which typically don't carry great reputations! We tried breakfast and it was perfect with excellent service. That evening we had dinner, consisting of several different seafoods, and it was one of our best meals on this 2 week drive through the maritime provinces. Highly recommend dining here.

The Prince William Dining room was closed on Sunday evening but we were told that the Pub had the same menu. Our server was friendly. The food delicious. The Pub wasn't busy & we had lots of room at our table. The seafood chowder is the best I ever tasted! The Fish Platter was so tasty, (Haddock). Someone else had the 2 pc. Fish & Chips & enjoyed it.Sadly the lobster dinner didn't offer potato salad so I didn't order. Never will understand how a baked potato goes with a lobster dinner!! Perhaps the chef isn't a Maritimer...LOL

I enjoyed staying here for 2 nights. The room was comfortable, the restaurant was great, and there was a wonderful view of the ocean. I enjoyed the plate of mussels I had for supper.

I have been here twice, but only for breakfast. I have had a traditional Eggs Benedict both times, and it has been excellent both times.The staff are wonderful. They exude that Maritime charm, and the do it easily and naturally. The prices are good, and in keeping with the quality of the product presented.In terms of location, it is fantastic, but be prepared; like much I have seen in PEI, the facility is dated, and in need of a little upgrade. If you are OK with that, then you will enjoy your experience here.Happy travels

My husband and I look forward to breakfast at Prince William Dining Room whenever we visit Summerside. There is something to suit everybody. It's difficult to choose what to have as everything is so good! The ladies make sure the coffee is hot and fresh and service is friendly. Sunday brunch was very nice as well.We love this place
