For a place run by someone famous for criticising others shortcomings the Crown & Castle's food was disappointing.

"Wow, I've been meaning to go to this coffee shop for so long, we decided to go this weekend and it was great. Lovely staff, lovely food, nom, nom, nom! And what a lovely setting, we stayed for a while starting inside then deciding to sit out side. Both were wonderful experiences, outside was just beautiful looking over the duck pond, then over to the lovely Suffolk countryside. We will definitely be returning and with the ideas I heard about today for the end of October I can not wait."

"Renowned locally for its food and atmosphere, the Station surpassed itself on New Year's Eve. Possibly the best meal out in 2023. The place was buzzing but the staff coped extremely well. As for the food, it was top notch. I had the ribeye steak with peppercorn sauce cooked to perfection with garlic saute potatoes. My wife and a friend said their coq au vin was wonderful. They were less happy with the sherry trifle they shared saying it was overly swet. However, my dark chocolate tart was simply amazing. Top marks all round!"

"Visited this cosy restaurant before going to a concert nearby. The food took approx. 40 minutes to arrive, at which point we had to scoff it down really quickly and head off with no time for dessert. The staff were inattentive, which was a shame because the food was delicious and we would have loved to have had another course."

"A group of six of us visited the Blue Naan last Friday evening. Highly recommended by our two friends from Felixstowe, and it didn’t disappoint. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the service was friendly and ‘entertaining’. My wife and I both chose...house specials we had never had before, and we’re very happy we did. We thought 3 rice, 3 naans and 3 sides with the ‘mains’ would be about right we have pretty good appetites but the portions were generous, so two of each would probably have been plenty for the six of us. Sadly, we had to admit defeat, and couldn’t finish everything. The only slight negative was that the ‘U’ table layout (two people on three sides of the table) was just a little cramped but I’m not going to let that stop me giving the overall experience five stars."

"This is the Indian restaurant my wife and I go to when we want a takeaway. The food is consistently tasty at reasonable prices. I recommend the chicken tikka it is moist, delicious, and flavoured well. The staff (especially the owner) are always friendly and accommodating. I'd recommend this place to anybody looking for a tasty Indian meal."
