It was very innovative - best of WA produce served... read more It seems like Bistro des Artiste is evolving into Hexagone. We went there for dinner to sample the new menu. It was very innovative - best of WA produce served with a modern French flavour. I especially enjoyed the chestnut soup. I am looking forward to the official opening. It is great to have restaurants where the owners, chef and staff have so much passion for what they do. Well done!

Price wise... read more Came to Bistro des Artistes to try the truffle menu, the service was amazing and the food is definitely exceptional, love the Loose Box Truffle Egg. Price wise is also very good, especially when there's shaved truffle on every meal.

The food was absolutely delicious, extremely well presented and portion size was really good. We were even given unexpected extra add ons with most of our meals for no extra charge. The wait staff were very nice, could have been a bit more knowledgable but where this lacked they made up for in their enthusiasm. We will definitely be back.

Compared to Romain's from Bunker Bay, this was a bit to liquid and not set. The burnt sugar top was just a bit to dark. Just lacked that wow factor. Don't think I would hurry back.
