Appreciate being appreciated. Wonderful ladies work lunch at MonForte, Stratford Great food awesome wine! AND you pay by what you drink; yes by weight. We ordered different small items and then shared these among 4 of us and surprisingly I was more than full. Very fun off beat different kind of place to relax and share. Lots of stuff to look at. Unusual menu but very good food. I understand the outdoor patio is great... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Monforte on Wellington:
Went with a colleague and ordered what appeared to be a fairly high priced charcuterie dish. It was barely even an appetizer. We left having spent as much as we would expected on a main course. View all feedback.

I understand the outdoor patio is great but we ate inside as it was a rainy day.Tables are rustic so be careful not to push your wine glass over an uneven part.
A great little casual restaurant in downtown Stratford - cheese from the dairy by the same name - excellent dishes
A delightful surprise find by my sister, she couldn't wait to take our mother and me to the charming backyard patio for a delicious shared tapas meal and a light glass of wine. It felt like they knew we were coming. The menu is a delicious selection of local foods prepared in really innovative ways on small plates to share. Cheeses, honey, fantastic home-made crisps, greens, smoked trout, oils -- it was all creatively presented and delicious. The owner was so lovely, wanted to know what we liked, really interested in our feedback. The waiter was fun and knowledgeable, and we bought some fun gifts from the displays at the front. Summer, Fall, Winter or Spring, this is a charming, friendly but truly innovative destination that warrants frequent repeat visits.
This local cheesemaker has set up a cafe with ample beer/wine lists including flights, coffee, and desserts. We go every time we're in Stratford and love to sit in the flower & plant-filled back patio which sometimes has it's own mini-bar and BBQ. Service can be slow and they have run out of drinks & menu items in the evenings, but we take that as a sign of busy-ness: everything is locally produced & freshly made. Food is tasty & varied if a bit expensive, but drinks are cold and ambiance is charming with rustic vintage touches and board games inside if weather's poor. I also recommend taking something home from their cheese fridge: the Mary Jane is a new treat this year!
Fantastic grilled cheese and summer drinks last year. This year, server made 4 mistakes, food salty.
