What Daija Little dislikes about Boar's Head Pub:
Was disappointed with the food. Problem might have been that as part of a tour group, but beef I had was badly over cooked. Not sure what the soup was, but didn't care for it. Apple crisp dessert wasn't bad. View all feedback.
I recently held an event at the Boars Head, and I was very impressed with how the staff set up the room. The food was delicious, and our server provided excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I was searching for a genuine pub experience and Boar's Head delivered. Our server, Frank, prepared the most delicious shepherd's pie and a fantastic shandy, while the bartender made a top-notch Black and Tan. We will definitely return for the Friday lunch buffet.
The restaurant has excellent staff, a wide variety of beers, delicious food, convenient location, inviting atmosphere, and is connected to the Queens Inn which offers accommodation.
I had the burger special of the day. One of the best I've ever had. Cooked perfectly, cheese melted perfectly. Amazing!
We have been regulars at the Boar's Head for over 20 years. Everyone, from Barb the owner to all of the staff, are great. Awesome food, great beer and a wonderful atmosphere!
