Early Stage Saloon - Stony Plain

I went to this restaurant last week to see Sarah Smith perform, which was amazing. Our server was fantastic and another restaurant would be fortunate to have her. However, the food was disappointing. My wings were tiny and overcooked, while my partner's burger was flavorless and puny. The nachos were lackluster with hardly any cheese and limited toppings. Our friends had to wait over an hour for their meals. The poutine we ordered was not authentic at all – it was just fries topped with a strange gravy cheese sauce. Overall, we were very dissatisfied and will not be returning.

We stopped by for dinner on a Tuesday evening. The meal was good, the service was excellent, and the restaurant was not too busy.

Have been here many times. The beer is always cold, the greeting always warm and the food is fantastic - very home style. The burgers are home-made and the salads are always fresh. And then there's the chicken wings with many flavours - tried them all but always come back for my favourite - Scorned Woman wings. They are fairly spicy - just the way I like 'em.And pretty much every Friday and Saturday nights they have a live band for entertainment. Seen many of them and while some were a little hokey, most have been pretty good and a few we're spectacular.I make it a habit to visit at least once a month - likely been here at least a hundred times - and I have never been disappointed.

Hell of a good time, great value for your money, went there this past newyears and had a blast. the band was fantastic and the place was hopping, going again this year when we are in the area. Keep up the good work. The food was good and the prices were fair.
