Some found the food to be of moderate standard and quite pricey, while others enjoyed their dining experience and praised the service. There were complaints about issues such as unchilled wine, tough steak, and inaccessible dining areas for disabled individuals. Despite these drawbacks, some customers appreciated the friendly staff and decent food quality, making it a hit or miss experience for guests.
The restaurant is a great addition to the hotel. Dining in the bar is not what I consider a romantic meal.
I took my mother out for a Mother's Day afternoon tea (a few days early) and found the restaurant to be empty with very few staff present. The sandwiches were a bit stale, likely made hours before. The cakes, however, were delicious. I don't think I would have been willing to pay more for the experience.
We missed out on celebrating birthdays due to illness, so we chose to try out Bredbury Hall restaurant for something new. We were not let down - the food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff were all wonderful and attentive without being overbearing.
I was concerned about the relatively poor access to the Dining Area for my disabled mother. There were two fairly large steps to navigate and she was really upset at having to negotiate these. Wouldn't come back I'm afraid
We stayed for dinner, bed and breakfast at Bredbury hall, the starter and sweet options were ok , however i had to pay an extra for the steak option, which was quite tough. We ordered a bottle of white wine which had not been chilled, and had to ask twice for an ice bucket. Overall the food was of a moderate standard and quite pricey, i will not be eating there again.
