"We were there for dinner. We were all completely disappointed. The menu did not offer a selection and the dishes offered were overpriced. For his money you got a greasy panned one with a few frits. It's good that the service doesn't ask how it tasted. The prei performance ratio is not true at all in the restaurant. In the future, we will drive a big arc around Emsing."

"For a one night stay in Geisenfeld, we thought we'd have a traditional Beyerish dinner. The top choice was closed for business. So we headed over to Lafonte instead. Tonight's family dinner was therefore quite unexpected a magnificent Italian experience in terms of both service and food. Top quality. The Dorada dish I had was outstanding, and as far as the rest of my family is concerned, their dishes were well prepared and tasty as well. There was no particular kids menu, but they had no problem creating a small Spaghetti Carbonara and Pepperoni pizza. When our son, age 7, saw that pepperoni was not the small round slices he knows as pepperoni, the waitress and kitchen had no problem changing his topping within minutes and at no extra charge. The Filet a la Enzo and a lamb grill dish we had were equally well prepared, and we all left very pleased. All staff were kind and courteous. My leaving remarks was in my unhelpful and very limited Italian: Alora, tuto manjare, siempre bellissimo! Gracie mille. I hope everyone will have the same dining experience. If they do, this place definitely deserves a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide."

"I recently took my Audi to Ingolstadt for major servicing, having been disappointed by the lack of attention and the poor service quality received in Aix en Provence. My partner and I stopped at the Schanzer Steakhaus for dinner. Very gemutlich (pleasant & welcoming) atmosphere. Lots of choice and some great German white wines."
