Mill Street Brew Pub - St. John's

Ate a couple of times in the Bier Markt, and loved it.

Thought this should be a higher class place because of its location.

My favourite place to visit while in town. Can’t believe your permanently closed. So sad. The varieties of beer were always a treat, The staff were so friendly and food was amazing.

I have dined at this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. I rarely give restaurants a star rating, but this place has something for everyone. They offer a variety of unique beers to suit all tastes. The menu is not overwhelming, and there is always a delicious special available. This month they are hosting a burger and brew fest where you can get a passport to visit different establishments in St. John, collect stamps, and win prizes. Mill Street Brew Pub is one of the participating locations. I tried their "glazed and confused" burger, which features a glazed donut instead of a bun - it was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and they are always willing to let you sample their home-brewed beers. I tried the "state of emergency," a chocolate peanut butter caramel stout that exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was inviting, the prices were reasonable, and the staff, led by Meaghan, were friendly and attentive. Despite being surrounded by chain restaurants, I preferred the more laid-back atmosphere here. I returned for dinner the following night and had the Gouda beef dip, which was also very tasty. I will definitely be back.

We waited for hours to receive our food in a restaurant that was only half full. When our plates finally arrived, they were so hot that it seemed like they had been sitting under a heat lamp. When we spoke to the waitress about our concerns, she dismissed them.
