The restaurant offers a pleasant vibe and decent food and drinks. While some appetizers were just okay, other items had bolder flavors worth trying. The location is great, with a view of the waterway. The service was quick and friendly, especially with standout servers like Emma. The menu, although slightly pricey, offers tasty options like the cauliflower bites and wings. The establishment accommodates outdoor dining with a patio. Overall, the restaurant is a solid choice for a night out with good service, delicious food, and a relaxing ambiance.

What User dislikes about The Upper Deck Taphouse & Grill:
Met a few friends here on the weekend. It had a nice vibe. Our server was ok, she seemed busy. We ordered a few appetizers to share and had a few drinks. Everything was ok. The drinks were fine, wine and beers. The appetizers weren't anything to rave about. But I will be back to try other items. Location is great! View all feedback.

When you let the world know that you are going to serve turkey dinner on Thanksgiving Day, you better be ready for the consequences.

From the outside, one can't tell that the place is actually quite big with 2 floors of sitting area.

We requested a table by the window (facing the ravine) and the waitress did an effort to accommodate us. Ordered a burger and a salmon filet; plus cheesecake for dessert. Everything was well served in terms of amount of food and presentation. Both plates were tasty. Service was fast and food came warm. Server recommended the dessert which was very good. Taxes and 18% tip included (since service was outstanding) was $27 per person. Highly recommended.

We like patios, and are always disappointed how few of them there are in St. Catharines (especially ones that overlook the water!)Upper Deck comes close to meeting our needs: while not precisely on the water, its patio does overlook 12 Mile Creek, and is very pleasant. The menu is varied, and our problem is usually choosing between several options, as opposed to not finding anything we like.My only quibble would be that their selection of beer is pretty parochial. Oh well, we can always hope they'll improve!
