What Orin Hettinger doesn't like about Jungle Jim's:
Your regular Jungle Jim's menu.. My husband had the fish n' chips...Fish good...fries could have been crispier..I had the California wrap..it was good.. & felt the same way about the fries..a little crispier.. View all feedback.
At around 6 o'clock, there were two other occupied tables in the restaurant. After waiting for 20 minutes without receiving menus, water, or any drink offerings, we decided to leave. It seemed like nobody else even noticed our departure.
We dined at this restaurant last night. My partner had the steak and said it was really good. Our son loved his rib dinner. I ordered the vegan bowl and it was delicious. All meals came with fresh vegetables. The service was fantastic, quick and friendly.
Our group of four enjoyed the special wings and onion rings as an appetizer. For our main courses, we ordered two steaks and two chicken roasts, all of which were excellent. The steaks were tender and cooked perfectly. The service was very good. One impressive aspect was that the standards were comparable to our local Youngle Jim in Halifax, meaning they are reliable. We recommend trying the large meal options.
It was Wednesday wing night and the wings were delicious. we also had the best waiter, nod, he was so friendly and helpful. he made the experience excellent! thank you.
Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience at jungle Jim's.. mainly due to our server..Dylan was a complete a-hole.. sat us at a dirty table, my wife asked if he could wipe it and it only got worse from there.. I'm in the hospitality business and...for me to not tip a server it has to be bad..
