The upper station of the Goldeck Funicular is integrated in Restaurant Bergstation Goldeck. It is of course the only restaurant on the Goldeck summit and they know it. "We've just finished dinner here and it was our second time there today because the food is so good. We found the restaurant this afternoon and had lunch. Yes the menus are all in German, but hey we're blessed with google translate now if you don't understand the menu. The waiter at lunch was great, he did happen to speak English, which was nice but we still tried with our best broken German! Weinerschnitzel was to die for! At dinner myself and my partner both had the burgers which were superfilling sadly leaving no room for dessert. The views are beautiful over the lake. Also what is lovely even now in the height of summer the area is not full of screaming tourists and children!! Great restaurant 100% recommend!!!!"
