I stayed at the Spanish River Inn this past week. -rooms are spacious and very clean-comfortable beds and pillows-had a great sleep-the fairly new owner goes out of his way to accommodate and assist-very pleasant-highly recommend (Only 15 minutes from Massey; have stayed at the two hotels there but -would strongly recommend this one instead.-ate three meals in the restaurant - food was excellent and inexpensive-will... read more.

In pleasant weather you can even eat and drink in the outdoor area.

What User doesn't like about Spanish River Inn - Motel & Restaurant:
The restaurant staff are not very good went in as a table of three they only brought one drink to the table and didn't ask anyone what we wanted to drink. Sat there for over half hour while they chatted with the only other custard a other table. Needless to say that we left. That is twice we tried to dine there and the service was horrible. Will not go back again read more.

The Spanish River Inn - Motel & Restaurant is indeed a good choice, which is also seen by the previous visitors with an average assessment of 3.

Eating was fine. Server friendly. We were the first customers of the day. The floor had food from day before. Washroom not very clean. Wouldn't stop.

A friend and I snowed off Elliot Lake in Spanish a very cold morning. We stopped at the Spanish River Inn for lunch. Service was good. I had fish. You were good...

"Stopped in for dinner on our way back to the Soo. The decor is very eclectic and humorous (pay attention to the small signs with Monty Pythonesque sarcasm). The men's washroom was a mood lifter in it's self. Now to the food. I ordered Chipotle steal wrap with fries. The wrap was awesome, fresh tasting with strips of real steak (not shaved) and was quite large. The fries were especially wonderful. Hand cut in varying thickness from standard chip wagon thickness to very thin frite like wedges, Consistently crispy and very tasty. My wife had mushroom soup with very generous - small spinach salad. We shared a piece of Mocha cake that was very light and refreshing for dessert. We were quite satisfied and will be back for sure. Very friendly service as well."

"Have had breakfast here twice this fall, first time was while camping at the Chutes PP on the last wknd of the season and then about 3 weeks later while traveling through Massey. Both times the restaurant was clean, and well-appointed, the service was first class, and our server made sure we got exactly what we ordered and that we were happy with our meal... Had the pancakes with real maple syrup and real butter best I've ever had in any restaurant and I'm not exactly a pancake fan but this was very good, along with some marble rye and some sausage. The second time I tried their Omelett with homefries and marble rye and was happy with it as well, plan to visit in the not-too-distant future and recommend anyone to try it out. Also, we asked about the Sukhdev sign in the window as there were no Indian dishes on the menu, we were told that it had been part of the Sukhdev franchise but no longer was."
