The pub was fantastic with great food and music. We reserved a table for dinner that happened to be right next to the live music. The staff happily accommodated us and moved us to a different table where we could still enjoy the music. The food was delicious, and we had a great time in a wonderful atmosphere. View all feedback.
What Edwin Lauer dislikes about Platform Tavern:
Very disappointing. My wife and I have been here a few times and eaten here on one occasion before. On this occasion, the room was cold, a number of items were unavailable and the elderly newzealanders who accompanied us were upset by the loud drunken swearing from the next table. The fish chips one of us had was a greasy disaster and the ‘roast’ was tepid. A shame, we used to like the place. View all feedback.
Beautiful meal in platform tavern. they were here twice, very fast and efficient.
We went when there was live music. it was a blues jam. the music was great, like the friendly atmosphere. good for the type of venue
Great pub, good food music. we booked a table for eating that was very close to live music. the personal has brought us to another table where we could still see the music. we had good food, a fun time in a big atmosphere.
Superb school education, all meals very well. Happy, helpful people. Great overall vibe.
Sunday lunch with family of nine to celebrate a birthday. The bar staff were warm and friendly. There was live music and atmosphere great. Food all served together and was lovely. Pub decor is very tired but that’s more than offset by every else being excellent. Recommend and will definitely go again.
