My expectation for good restaurant would entails good food, lovely atmosphere, and thoughtful service. This Farmhouse is a very small restaurant, with only one long table available for everyone to share. Not much privacy. Jazz and candle helped with the atmosphere. <br>

At booking, I was told there will be candle prepared for birthday man. Not only they completely forgot, but when I mentioned to them in the end, no signs of genuine sorry was seen, it was a "oh I am sorry, it is $144 please". Terrible service. <br>

Entry was really lovely, main course was large, tasted ok, lots of fish bone, small but still quite unpleasant, and dessert was creative, can't say it was good.<br>

Overall, will never come back here for another celebration or anything."

"The milk bun with bacon and egg was incredible. The bun was so light it was really just a vector for ingesting yummy bacon and egg and the mayo had a nice heat and just added to the whole experience. Coffee was delicious. I love the way they used the wall opposite in the alleyway for street art and then repeated the motif on the pillar inside the bar area."

"We came to Banana Leaf on a Saturday afternoon for lunch in a group of three. The restaurant has a nice ambience and their decor is also very fitting. We ordered the Red duck curry, Pad Thai with chicken and Massamun curry with beef (with rice). Staff were all really friendly and service was relatively fast. Both the curries were sweet curries and had a nice consistency to them. They were both extremely enjoyable and the flavours worked really well together. The Pad Thai was also delicious and well presented. The serving portions at Banana Leaf are extremely generous and we had to end up taking away!
