When I want fish and chips to go this is the place to come, great British style fish and chips, have curry sauce and pickled eggs and any other deep fry delights you could want. Great to take to local beach in summer and watch the sunset whilst sipping a beer or take home and eat in winter. So reasonably priced still $10 and very friendly girls serving and cooking. A gem. Also best tasting in Perth take away. View all feedback.
What GordonT dislikes about South Beach Fish and Chips:
We were looking forward to the grilled barramundi and chips, and certainly a generous serve s as Nd friendly staff. The fish s as although grilled was really oily which sort of spoiled things and including a bit of lemon would be a nice touch. Will give it another go but I think at this stage Sealanes around the corner is a better bet or the South Beach Hotel does a great fish and chips View all feedback.
Delicious!!! Best fish & chips you'll find in Freo, fish is top quality and chips are the perfect level of crispiness... definitely a repeat offender
South Beach Fish & chips is all quality. Definitely in my top 5 of all time! From the service to the food itself, there's nothing that disappoints!
This place has been here since the start of time. It's the only option for fish and chips near the beach and it serves it purpose well. The fish is always cooked perfected and the chips are also.
First impressions count. So I won't be going back. Even though the Young staff where friendly and efficient but it's dirty shop. Floors are disgusting , specially under the counter. Food sitting out in the open. fish is expensive, spud scollops- not sure what they where - certainly not real spuds- awful. This is a shop that does not care any more. Tired and run down.
Crab sticks the bomb, fam - 10/10 would recommend to all south fremantlers looking for a cheap chip feed n some seafood battered to perfection ;)
