It is well worth a visit to Port City Roasters they make the best coffee in Fremantle. There meals are also delicious as are their muffins. I also buy their freshly roasted beans for use at home. View all feedback.
What Annetta Smitham dislikes about Port City Roasters:
We organised to have a function at Port City Roastets in March. It was a very humid day and on this particular day there aircon was not working in the function room. We were not even made aware of this until we arrived. This caused our guest to be unconfortable and leave early. Ontop of this, prior to thr function we worked out a deal with the cakes but upon paying they still charged us full prices! After speaking to... View all feedback.
Love Port City Roasters! Such a nice open space cafe in South Fremantle. Went on a Saturday afternoon and ordered a latte, flat white, espresso and the Eggs Benny Chan and the Beef Brisket Brioche Roll for lunch. All delicious! Really liked the coffee at Port City Roasters. Smooth with no bitter after taste. The eggs benny chan was sooooooo good. Liked the different elements, flavours and textures which worked so well together. The beef brisket roll was really good as well. Bread was nice and soft and the meat was really tender. Before we left we ordered a take away lemon meringue donut ($6.50). Probably one of the BEST donuts I've ever had!!! Highly recommend!! ???????????? Along with the coffee, food, look and feel being great - the cafe does table service and the staff are also really friendly. Overall highly recommend Port City Roasters! Especially if it's a nice sunny day :)
This is very Aussie ❤️ Love the coffee and the whole ambience. Service was great and fast, got to even see them roasting fresh coffee beans when we came.
Large space with plenty of seating and a delicious sounding all day menu. We opted for the French toast and eggs Benny chan from the breakfast menu and the gnocchi from the lunch side. Coffee orders were taken immediately as we sat down. Service was fast and efficient. The coffee was smooth and delicious. Food was hit and miss. The eggs benny chan that everyone has raved about in their reviews is well justified. The panko crumbed eggs and sriricha hollandaise totally makes this dish. Rate that a solid 9/10. French toast was alright, ours needed more soaking time as it was missing that custardy middle I love. Wasn't too sweet either. Gnocchi was really bland. Needed more seasoning/cheese and was really mushy. Wouldn't order that again.
First visit to this place & I did like the atmosphere - it did help that it was a beautiful day & sitting outside was just lovely. Service was prompt & friendly, and the coffee was good. I found the breakfast menu to be a little restricted, but the scrambled eggs on toast was exceptionally well done. I had to call the waitress back to double check that the toast was g/f as it looked too good! She even went & found the brand name of it for me (Mills, in case you're wondering).
Just okay.. not sure what else to say. I liked the almond croissant we ordered. The coffees were ok as well. Bit on the expensive side. Id like to try it again and actually sit down to eat rather than takeaway. Modern interior with lots if room between tables which I liked.
