★ 3.6 / 5 from 1085 reviews

The Pig and Whistle restaurant offers a mixed experience, with some customers raving about the delicious British fish n chips while others were disappointed with the service and slow delivery of drinks. Despite some complaints about rude staff and slow service, many enjoyed the generous portions and flavorful food offerings, such as the Jumbo Prawns and Pulled Pork roll. The live music and lively atmosphere make it a great place to catch up with friends, especially on a warm Brisbane evening. However, be prepared for potential delays during peak times, as some customers experienced long waits for their meals. Despite mixed reviews, many patrons appreciated the attentive staff and quality of the food, making it a popular dining spot in Brisbane.

Food is great. 5 stars for that. Would be better if they had some more craft beer options on tap though. Especially more dark beers. Overall great place to go.

After work drinks with mates. Great place for a drink, friendly staff and live music playing all the favorites. Great service even though were very busy. Will visit again.

I have called in here for drinks 3 or 4 times and thought it was time to give a review.I love this pub!I love its open feel and alfresco sitting area for the warm balmy Brisbane nights. I love it has live music, and also screens showing all football codes (afl, rugby and union). A great place to catch up with friends, but a relaxed place to start the night off before heading off to other bars or restaurants. Drinks reasonably priced. Haven't eaten here yet.

Good atmosphere, good TV's/projector for sport, well laid out floor plan for dining/bar areas. Food is decent, a tad expensive but quality is consistent.

Great for a classic, hearty pub meal. I got the chicken parmigiana which tasted great, however it had a white sauce rather than the classic tomato sauce, which made me enjoy it less. This particular location was very clean and aesthetically pleasing, however as I went later in the night (9pm) there were a few questionable characters looming around which was not ideal. However, it remained opened to serve food until late, which is unlike most other restaurants.
