Found this restaurant by accident. It's in a plaza next to a busy supermarket. You almost don't notice it as the signage is not very distinguishable. The decor inside is largely black and white with oddly placed pictures of Paris along one wall. Ordered their highest-end bento box. Surprised to find that it was more than just a bento box. Started with a small miso soup, followed with small salad. Then, surprisingly,... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about J.C Sushi:
Typical sushi take out. I like that I can order online and pick it up pretty quickly. It seems they don't pay attention to the pick up time you enter on the website though as I'm sure my food was sitting for a while last...time. View all feedback.
This restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat option for a reasonable price. I tried the tempura udon soup and found it to be flavorful. However, the other dishes were not as good as expected. The fried tentacles seemed overcooked and the sushi was not particularly impressive. The tempura shrimp and sweet potatoes were decent. Despite this, I might consider returning due to the affordable price.
We used to be picky about where we ate sushi, usually only going to big cities for it. However, after trying J.C., we can now save some travel time. While the decor isn't the fanciest (although it does seem to improve each time we visit), they do offer good sushi at a reasonable price. I would suggest trying any of the maki rolls - or any of the rolls, in general. The staff is friendly and efficient, and they also have a loyalty card for frequent customers. Overall, it's a win-win situation.
We order take-out from this restaurant every month. The sushi and other dishes are delicious. The delivery can be slow, so I would recommend picking it up instead.
When I moved to Norfolk County I thought my days of crushing awesome sushi were largely behind me. After I went inside JC sushi I was pleasantly mistaken. JC sushi is awesome. The staff is always incredibly friendly. They really go above and beyond to...accommodate you. Their lunch and dinner prices are very reasonably priced considering their huge assortment of food on their menu. I recommend trying the following: sashimi butterfish, salmon, tuna, crab sticks, avocado salad, beef short ribs, spicy crunch roll and their mushroom tempura. Enjoy!
Take out order that was prepared quickly and accurately. Not high end sushi, but ok for a small community. Cannot compete with sushi in Hamilton
