Diners rave about the generous portions and flavorful cuisine, particularly the steak, gnocchi, and seafood offerings, with many praising the fresh, local ingredients. While some were left disappointed by long waits and seating arrangements, the overall ambiance, friendly staff, and warm atmosphere created during chilly nights won many hearts. Signature dishes like prawn pizza and indulgent desserts, such as Chocolate Silk Cake, further elevate the experience. This charming eatery is worth a visit, despite the occasional hiccups in service.
We walked out before ordering after 20 mins as the poor staff (only two, one guy trying to take drink orders and one girl taking orders, clearing tables, serving meals and seating guests) were too busy to cope with the amount of people in the restaurant. We went and ate somewhere else.
The food and overall experience were enjoyable. However, I was disappointed to have booked a table and ended up sitting on bean bags. I'm not sure if I would return based solely on that experience. It was quite challenging to eat in those circumstances. Perhaps if you book for a larger group, you will be seated at a regular table.
We had a delightful dining experience at this restaurant. The food was tasty and served hot. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
We left the restaurant before our meal even arrived because we waited over 30 minutes and no one came to take our order. The restaurant was understaffed and when we asked at the bar, they couldn't give us a time frame for when our meal would be ready because the kitchen was under a lot of stress.
Lovely to be able to walk from our accommodation and be able to enjoy a tasty meal and a lovely glass of local wine. We enjoyed 3 meals at Beaches while we stayed at Seven Mile Beach.
