"I really wanted to like this place more. My seasonal latte with oat milk ended up costing more than a similar drink in Los Angeles. I found a cozy corner to get a bit of work done, but a woman came by and hour or so later and told me it was the readers spot. I then relocated into the more open area, where it was too loud. Multiple people were either taking video calls without headphones or chatting with a group of friends. It just didn’t seem conducive to a work environment on a Friday morning, but maybe that’s my mistake. I felt compelled to leave shorty after moving spots. Will I be back? Unlikely. Maybe to check out an event or get coffee to go, but there are several other coffee shops in the area."

"Amazing! I would give body parts just to eat this food it’s so good. After every bite you make a noise of pure bliss. The collard greens were out of this world. Fried neck bones are to die for. And don’t even get me started on the country fried steak!!! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!"

"Had a hankering for soul good and I heard Drew's Place was open for lunch dine in finally. It's been mentioned as the best fried chicken in Fort Worth.Couldn't decide between fried chicken and chicken fried steak so I ordered the 2 meat combination chicken was well seasoned and tender slightly crispy. Chicken fried steak was also very tender with a 6 ounce cutlets. A little on the thin side of thickness and wished it was crisper but overall enjoyed it with a nice thick cream gravy.Cornbread had good flavor but was a little dry and needed butter.Yams were slightly sweet but prefer my yams to baked with marshmallows and butter but there was an adequate amount of brown sugar but needed cinnamon.Greens were very well seasoned but wished they were a little less cooked.For the quick service and value of price and amount of food I would come back definitely better than average soul food. Parking is challening and the dining room is small and can be a little hot.Happy Eating!#diggitydoeats"

"Beef brisket...excellent, corn bread, very good, more pancake then bread I'm used to, but I'm a new fan. Great collards, white beans too. I didn't love the pork chop, but I'm would try it again, not sure I ordered it properly. Looking forward to eatingin Kinfolks vs takeout. Nice friendly folks. Great ice tea too. BBQ sauce is on the side fyi. I liked spicy and regular. Great flavor."
