"I could spend all day here. Food is amazing on so many levels. All their dishes taste authentic. Well, from what I've had for the most part. Their beer selection is also plentiful and enough to keep the night interesting! I love seeing a mixed crowd here at all times, you can tell people really appreciate this place. I definitely do!"

"Been going to Pho Mekong for years now. Sadly it is one of the last old school Pho spots in Oakland as Kevin 's Noodle House and Pho Hoa Loa closed years ago. Usual fare here: pho, bun, Bahn mi. Food is standard nothing will wow you. What makes Pho Mekong different is that they sell desserts smoothies, Boba and the Vietnamese version of Halo Halo. If you want pho with beef slices to your liking (rare), ask for it on the side and put it in yourself."

"I literally stumbled over this place looking for Pho Uptown. Fortunately, I came in during the downtime and when I told you that the service, food and drinks were immaculate? I'm really serious. Definitely a hidden jewel and I will be back very soon!"

"Smells like a musty basement when you walk in. The waters had black floaties in them and the food was lackluster at best. The Pad Thai had almost no flavor and the shrimp dish we ordered came with more rice than the actual dish. The spring rolls came to the table almost falling apart and were pretty much tasteless. Needless to say it was a very disappointing experience and a total waist of time and money."

"It is a small grocery store and the other half is a buffet style restaurant. The food is ready and ready for your choice. The roasted pig bell has no seasonal, oily and does not taste like everything. The fried rice was decent and her curry pig feet. The portion size is small, but the total price we definitely paid is quite unusual. One of the servers has an intelligent mouth, but next to the customer service was decent. The restaurant side doesn't look hygienic and somehow runs off. I wouldn't recommend it."

"As a former employee of this restaurant, I would like to share my experience. When I was hired for the first time, I agreed on a fixed schedule and the payment rate for the hostess position. Since I have about 4 years of experience working as a host in other restaurants, I came to understand the position of having certain tasks. However, they expected that I should do much more than the job description - many of the tasks that servers are typically responsible for. While I'm more than happy to help if needed, I felt taken advantage. I also want light on how servers are handled. There were times when I saw that the administration embarrassed a server in front of tables for a small mistake, like placing a wrong order. When I tried to discuss with management in a very pleasant way, I was spoken with very rude – sometimes insulted. While I understand that all restaurants work differently and that some staff (kitchen) I met here were very nice and helpful, I decided not to work here anymore.
