"What an experience!!!!! Love the quaint feeling old world style of this establishment! It was great speaking to the owner and matriarch of this family business while we dined. The service Atmosphere and Decor Food 1/2 (well executed presentation and plating was excellent. Portion size excellent. I felt the plates were a little pricy and needed a little extra to get a full 5 stars) Overall Experience They had an impressive wine and beer list. Many will love this aspect of the experience and go over the top. My wife and I neither are drinkers but can appreciate the experience of those dining around us. Lastly the desserts where visually spectacular! However they were very traditional European dessert fare .... Not very sweet but over all they were tasty. Overall we would give these folks and their restaurant 5 . It's a great experience and was very enjoyable!!!!!"

"Great place to enjoy a meal, knock back some beers, and get some work done. They do beer flights if you want some variety. Try the currywurst, their gasthaus sampler, and maybe dessert if you are still hungry. Server was very sweet. I will visit again next time I fly into South Bend. "Friendly staff, delicious food and drinks. authentic German food. our server, rhonda, has mentioned that it is normally host. she was great! our experience was fabulous. we are so glad we found this jewel in cody. the chef came out and talked to us to ask how our food was. definitiw will be the next time we are in the opposite. the volunteer (POW/MIA) was an unexpected feature that was estimated by this military family."
