"The hotel is physically stunning, beautifully appointed. The staff is uniformly professional and friendly. The food (we 'll revisit in a second) was delicious and creative. However a few negative notes:$60/day valet parking in the middle of Maryland, felt borderline abusive as parking charges go. I self parked and still left with a $100 charge after 3 days. I live in Brooklyn, New York where space is much more at a premium and pay less to park. Crazy.Very few food options. The ones they do have are similarly insanely expensive. My suggestion is to leave the hotel and go out nearby where there are many options that will cost more than they should, but less than half what the hotel expects you to pay.We were told we 'd have a harbor view which is technically what they gave me, from juuust the right angle looking out the window you could, in fact, see a sliver of the harbor. View was a bit of an oversell though, more like can just make it out .With all this said, we enjoyed our stay. The building is an architectural marvel and everything was very pleasant. Just be prepared for all the extra charges.Nearby activities: You 're next to a big casino. Also an easy drive into Washington DC and Alexandria Virginia."
