"Service was great and the food was flavorful and outstanding. We were able to bring a nice bottle of wine as well that brough out the flavours of each dish. I would go back and recommend."

"We made reservations on Opentable for a table for two on Valentine’s Day. Received confirmation, but learned upon our arrival, that table for two was for a dessert and wine tasting. At no point did the reservation indicate this was a wine tasting. West Baden offered no apology nor compensation for ruining our Valentine’s Day."

"The tour was excellent, the afternoon tea was very disappointing. My daughter and I attended this event as an early Mother's Day outing. We have been to many high teas and afternoon teas throughout the country. The service was poor. We didn't even have our first sip of hot tea until minutes after our tiered tray was delivered. The server mispronounced several of the items presented. We were never given a menu. Clearly, they have never been trained on steeping time, or service etiquette. The food was straight out of a box convenience items. I'm in the hospitality industry and recognized the pastries as those from a national vendorone was even still frozen in the middle. The venueatmosphere was delightful. I expected more from a historical hotel of that caliber. We will not be back, or recommend it to friends and family"

"What a beautiful place! We had a great time. The hotel is an architectural wonder. Make sure you take the history tour, it is fascinating. We ate at 3 different restaurants and all were fabulous. There is so much to do, horseback riding, golf, foot-golf, hiking.... The staff was so friendly and accommodating to anything we needed. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Shuttles were constantly running between hotels and activities."
