"Visits here on October 28 as a family of 5 and spend almost £ 40 for food. we have given our food and we have brought them to our table. the chips were not cooked and were hard. we took them back and tried to explain that. they were not cooked, but the man behind, until only over us screamed that “the new oil was and therefore they were pale” tried to tell him that we were not worried about the chips color, but the fact that they were not cooked and he simply turned his back on us. another person who had thrown away half of his meal, he had thrown away from us. we ate the chips that were edible and throw away the rest probably about 3 portions worth of chips. will not be back. there are many other fish and chip shops on the front that cook their chips properly."

"Ordered pie sausage and chips plus curry sauce. The pie was uncooked or not reheated properly the pastry was soggy and the curry sauce were slightly warm. The chips were cold and a lot of them had black inside. The sausages were not too bad....The whole meal was a disaster. Very disappointed. Used to use a lot a few years back but will not be visiting again."

"After speaking with Luke on the phone we decided to take a trip to Whitland on March 1st, St. David’s Day, pancake day, and our wedding anniversary. We needed gluten free and fresh fish and chips and a table for two Luke excelled and had a lovely table ready for us, with the freshest cooked chips and fish served in style. The taste was wonderful and the portions were perfect. Totally recommend this fabulous fish and chips restaurant for simple take out suppers or for a dine in treat. Five star food and service."

"I have been to a few chippies in Ruthin and this is hands down the nicest, freshly made food does take a little time but it is oh so worth it. The staff are amazingly friendly. We are regulars at this chippy and never go anywhere else. Would highly recommend."

"I recently visited smiths traditional fish and chips and I can happily say that the young man who was frying was out standing as he was very welcoming and the young girl working along side him serving was also very polite the food was outstanding I definitely would recommend that people visit the shop as it’s not only excellent for food but it is also really good for price as they are cheeper than most nearby shops and are definitely better quality."
