"The outside doesn’t look like much and for us that was the case for the entire experience on 6/12. Order of to go, waited an exceptionally long time with very few people inside eating and only a few orders going out. That’s fine I guess if the food is good, it wasn’t bad just kinda blah. We ordered a selection of what I was told were the popular items. Defiantly had much better. Gotta love a establishment that dismisses feed back and instead condescendingly “educates” the customer. Thanks for the education, we are all familiar with going to a restaurant and ordering food."

"It is sad how this place has turned out to be. We went for a business dinner I was embarrassed for the place.The food was awful our service was slow due to the fact I believe he was the cook too or he just really liked the kitchen area. The menus are torn,stained, and stapled. The drink menu is in a binder that looks trashy with highlighter written drink menu. Lights over the barwere out.(No one can change a bulb? Our dirty plates weren't taken off our table for a long while. If the outward appearancelooks this bad I would hate to see the kitchen the food isn't any better it is way over priced for low quality of food that isserved. Just sad! I would give less stars if it was possible."

"Hands down my favorite restaurant in OBX! It's worth the 2+ hour wait! The food is out of this world from their delicious white garlic pizza, to their fish tacos! End your meal with their chocolate peanut butter pie ???? so good! They added a smalloutdoor bar which was a genius idea. I ordered a beer and some chips and salsa while we waited for our table! A must visitwhile in OBX!"

"Excellent seafood. Loved my swordfish, the shrimp was also very good. Tuna dish was also good, but different. Great bread, house salad is large. My only complaint is that the corn was a little old. : decent service, but our server may have had too many tables."

"They need all new staff.. If youre going to spend 100-150 a person go somewhere else. I sat for 30+ minutes begging a waiter for a water and then the horrible service continued. I was from out of town and was so committed to oysters and clams that i took their crap. I got some clams in white wine sauce and clearly in a small room with a few staff again coulnt get a moment or glance from one of them. I wanted bread the whole time and raised my hand 10 times and eventually at the end of the entire meal he said, hey you want some bread with that.. NO SH.. There is a reason they build the tip into the tab, because they can get away with treating you horribly and not care."

"Stopped by on a sunny day and soaked in some bay views, soaking in the forest, water, and Taylor Shellfish’s great location.We ordered a mixed dozen oysters (generally the smaller ones tend to be my favorite) which were delicious. The peel and eat shrimp are sizable, offering multiple delicious bites each with that old bay style seasoning it was cooked in. The beers were good, and the caesar salad was cravable they even kept it real with the anchovy!The service was pleasant, with a pay when you order it scheme. There is also a spot inside to order seafood to go. You bus your own tables, and they bring the food to you when it’s ready. It’s a great spot to spend some time when the weather is nice outside."
