"Was outside to celebrate, my wife birthday and could not have asked for a better experience. had received a few drinks at the bar before going to our table and excellent service from the barman and I am pleased that this continued with our server. there is a 2 hours turnaround on tables, but we were allowed to sit on and enjoy them a few more cocktails as the bar was busy. good food and good value for money will definitely be back."

"Food and service was very good. Bardot has a great European fine dining atmosphere with dark wood trim and lower lighting creating a lovely dining atmosphere although a noisy one. The Beet and goat cheese arugula salad was nicely presented and tasted great. The escargot were nice garlicky and tender served with a sliced sourdough baguette. The lamb three ways was also a full flavored meal with a lovely cooked lamb chop, a richly flavored lamb brisket, and a full flavored cayenne seasoned sausage served on a bed of rich tasting beans. The prime rib was a tasty slow cooked medium rare served with creamy cheesey spinach and a smooth mashed potato."

"Ate on the patio, it was very pleasant. Our server, Alan A was great. He gave us good advice about our wine selections. Food was very good, I had the corn chowder for my appetizer and it was delicious. Overall a very good meal."

"I and my family arrived today Sunday 1st of September as a party of four adults and one child . We have been regular visitors to the restaurant and before today we would have been happy on prior visits. But sadly today has destroyed my opinion of the restaurant . My visit started at the bar , myself and my father in law had a pint and a rock shandy . Much to my disgust his rock cost a whopping 6.30 . In this day and age you really can't be serious a complete rip off . We let that go and decided to proced to have dinner and to say standards have dropped would be kind to you . Firstly we were waiting aprox 10-15 mins even though there was plenty of staff around . Second we were asked were we would like to be seated the lady suggested right beside the main door of the restaurant which we said wont be acceptable to us as I have young son. This was treated as if I asked her for a free meal , terrible attitude and this was the last time we seen her until we paid the bill . Thirdly and been a chef myself the food was a complete disgrace , how has the food quality gone so bad , no options for starters except a load of badly put together salads all lacking imagination and seasoning , soup which were below average ,main courses a burnt tasting gravy , everything under seasoned and my father in law said the stroganoff is the worst he has ever eaten . Desserts were all frozen , bought in rubbish which again seems to be a cost cutting idea , but will not keep customers I guarantee you that . Now to the shocking part , all this cost an incredible 100 euro as we also asked for a kids sausage and chips . I wish I went to a take away at least the good would have been enjoyable . But I think the worst was the staff . At no point during our meal were we asked for a drink of any kind . I myself twice had to go and get a water jug as we were thirsty and staff were more concerned about chatting with each other. All in all a terrible experience and as of today you have lost four regulars . For your own sake the food and staff attitudes needs to put right otherwise this review won't be the part of its kind ."
