"The atmosphere is nice but there is a big lack of passion from the bar staff. It felt for me that they just had to do their job but that’s it. When I arrived at the bar I got asked if I would like to have a water... usually at high level cocktail bars like the scarfes bar, the water is standard and doesn’t end up on your bill... (I didn’t asked for a bottled water)! The staff was quick and the bar snacks (nuts and olives) very nice. The cocktail was ok, nothing outstanding."

"Staff are incredibly helpful. Whatever you ask them they are accomodating and try their best to help. There's a games room where you can chill, work and also a cafe where you have breakfast provided (if included in your rate) and they also serve lunch and dinner. You can also bring your own food to eat and chill which is great. They have a rooftop bar with an awesome DJ, open to public and not just guests. Only down side is the noise from the bar and bars around locally, it's difficult to sleep sometimes so make sure to bring ear plugs!"

"Came in for drinks and the atmosphere, and loved both and the food! Highly recommend the fish chips and popcorn chicken, and one can’t go wrong with the cocktails!! Salmon was an exceptional server!! Recommend making a reservation ahead of time if possible."

"Went here with some friends. Pizza as I remember it from before I had to go gluten-free fon doctor’s orders. Great crust and tomato sauce. So many Coeliacs have to avoid pizzerias; thank you Beerd!"

"A real pub, beer, open fire, friendly staff and good conversation. There is a wide selection of beers that suit most taste. If you don't find anyone you like, you're up! Eating? They sell nuts, different flavors too. If you want a steak, there are many other places... Malt and Hops are a drinkable. And it's really good."
