"Americana is an amazing steakhouse and American classic fusion restaurant. Everything on the menu is a great choice, and you’ll be surprised how much you enjoy something you wouldn’t typically order. After dozens of visits, I’ve never had a dish I didn’t like, never encountered any kind of problem, and always enjoyed every single craft cocktail I’ve tried. Americana is a Des Moines staple and a guaranteed good night out. Very fairly priced for the quality Worth every dollar, highly recommend."

"I'm a jersey girl, who doesn't love a diner? Like any other diner, crowded, loud, quick step, wonderful coughing staff and ingenious diner food. Corned beef hash and eggs for the man, his favorite. He loved every bite, but he wished that the hash brown well made French toast and bacon-bacon was crispy and salty as it should be, and the French toast was perfectly moist on the inside and cooked perfectly suck on the outside coffee, I like it never, but I always get it, cuz ya just do I diner food."

"We ate lunch at the Crystal Lake Cafe today because our choices were sparse. We had just been to the Taughannock Falls State Park and were very hot from the hiking trails. It was hot and humid (August 21, 2019). When asked if we wanted to eat outdoorsor indoors, we asked if the indoor section was air conditioned. We were told flat out that it was. Well, it wasn 't. But beingso tired, we stayed in the non air conditioning. That set the tone of how our service was going to go. To cut to the chase,the Grilled Cheese, the Cuban sandwiches, and the wings were fine however, the potato fries were in the oil a little toolong. Our waitress never checked to see if everything was alright with our meals nor refilled our water, basically forgot thatwe existed totally. You say, Well maybe it was busy or maybe we were in an out of the way table? No to both. We were one ofonly two tables there and were right in the middle of the dining area. And, our waitress was friendly and outgoing to the onlyother table there a Caucasian couple as a matter of fact, she asked THEM how their meal was and was very nice to them. Yes,we are not Caucasian. We left a 15% tip (I know, we shouldn 't have even left that) and wrote on the receipt what weexperienced. Our advice, skip this place. No food is good enough to tolerate this kind of treatment."

It's a ghost kitchen that operates from Ruby Tuesday, and if I recall correctly, everything on the Pasta Americana menu is also on the Ruby Tuesday menu.(Mr. Beast Burger is also operated out of Ruby Tuesday, but that's a whole nother review)"

"We were looking for a new go-to delivery pizza spot after the quality of our old one went down. After a lot of soggy sub-par delivery, Americana was a happy find and is our new go-to. The house-made mozzarella is unbelievably creamy, the flavors are delicious, and I know I’m not going to be disappointed by a soggy crust when it shows up to my door. Give them a try!"
