"Wir sind auf der Durchreise am Nachmittag in den Gastgarten und am Abend ins Restaurant geschneit. Obwohl das Haus sehr voll war, ist uns die angenehme Ruhe aufgefallen, da die beiden Gruppen in anderen Räumen untergebracht waren. Die Vorspeise wurde sehr schnell serviert, auf die Hauptspeisen mußten wir auf Grund des Wirbels einige Zeit warten. Die Gerichte selbst haben ausgezeichnet geschmeckt, der Service selbst war hervorragend, sehr persönlich und aufmerksam. Tolle Leistung!!!"

"We've visited Esslibris already for the fourth time and it is always a great experience! I always order the romantic 5 course menu without knowing what is on it. I don't need to know, because everything what comes out of this kitchen taste outstanding. Okay you need to be open and curious to try new things!The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and very attentively. This restaurant is one of my top favourite! I really recommend to book a table in advance!"

"Dieses gut und mit viel Umsicht exzellent geführte Lokal ist fast sowas wie ein Geheimtip. Hochwertig möbliert und weiträumig, etwas unübersichtlich, jedoch ohne unpersönlich zu wirken. Aufmerksame und unaufdringliche Bedienung und ein gutes Publikum. Hier bekommt man endlich auch wieder echte Pfälzer Hausmannskost vom Küchenchef hervorragend zubereitet und zu einem überaus fairen Preis. Das Bier wird noch richtig gepflegt gezapft, und die Weine haben die richtige Temperatur. Man merkt, hier sind Profis am Werk. Alles in allem ein deutsches Restaurant mit sehr guter heimischer Küche wie es sie leider nicht mehr oft gibt und das alles zu fairen, überschaubaren Preisen. Hier bekommt man z. B. noch ein Kotelett mit Rotkraut und Püree, dazu ein ideal temperiertes Pils, für unter 12 Euro. So läßt es sich auch wochentags gut leben."
