"We've visited Esslibris already for the fourth time and it is always a great experience! I always order the romantic 5 course menu without knowing what is on it. I don't need to know, because everything what comes out of this kitchen taste outstanding. Okay you need to be open and curious to try new things!The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and very attentively. This restaurant is one of my top favourite! I really recommend to book a table in advance!"

"I can’t complain about the food but reading all the other reviews I was expecting a better service. First of all we were asked if we wanted to sit at the cheapest hotel restaurant even though we reserved at the Esslibris Restaurant!! We weren’t asked whether we wanted to drink wine until after the starters came and we felt we were kind of ignored to be honest even though we were guests of the hotel, eating at the hotel restaurant and spending about without drinks. Even when we left tip the waitress did not even thank us! So for that price range you expect a better service unfortunately"

"Nothing Italian about this place. No Italian owner, and no Italian chef. Bread and garlic butter from the house, bad quality bread and supermarket garlic butter. (Serve a good quality olive oil and butter instead, and buy desent bread) Bruchetta on the same bread, tomatoes were OK Fresh Tagliatelle was OK, but blocks of provolone cheese on top was disgusting, no sense of fine dining. Fresh knochi in gorgonzola was OK. The expresso coffee was OK."
