"So we booked this place mainly because it was near where we were going and had availability on Opentable. I was a bit nervous because we're fussy and some of the reviews stated that the food wasn't as good as the wine. Wrong! The food...was excellent. We go the scallop crudo, beef sliders, gnocchi and octopus every dish was excellent. I'm not normally a fan of beef sliders a bit boring for me, but these ones...out of this world. So tender and just excellent. I'll definitely go back for that. The service was also flawless. Perfect balance. There was never a time where I was looking to flag someone down, but not overbearing. And very friendly (but not overly so). I liked that when I asked for a sauvignon blanc, the first suggestion from the waitress was actually the cheapest on the menu. I don't care mush about price, but out of principle, it irritates me when I ask for a suggestion and a waiter's go-to, conveniently,is the most expensive on the menu. Also, the place is cute and has a great vibe. All in all, I was so pleased will definitely be back."

"Food was amazing, everything I hoped it would be! Our servers were clearly very experienced and friendly, perfect service really!After a lot of thought I had chosen this restaurant for a particularly special meal with my boyfriend. I had requested a private table/booth. This request was not granted, without an explanation or acknowledged by the host. For this I had to dock down a star. We were sat between VERY close tables. The restaurants atmosphere was very loud trust night. Our table unfortunately limited our experience, and what we were wanting for that evening.Definitely recommend for a night out with friends, but most certainly not for a romantic dinner or important conversation needing privacy."

"We visited woodlot for the first time for my partners birthday, which is always a risk. I'm so glad we took the leap of faith as they provided an experience that was unforgettable. Everyone loved their meal, our server was incredibly accommodating (we can be a bit difficult) and the selection of biodynamic wines and ciders was an excellent surprise. My partner is an organic, biodynamic farmer and we are so happy to have found a "farm to table" restaurant in the city that is the real deal. Thanks for a wonderful evening Woodlot, we'll be back."

"Villa Eyrie Alpina restaurant made our visit so special. They had fantastic food, a fantastic view, fantastic staff so helpful and friendly. At the end of the meal they brought out to parents with chocolates and happy birthday written on the plates and a candle...for each of us. It was such a special time for us we have been friends for 56 years and we both just turned 60 this year. We chose Villa Eyrie as the resort we wanted to stay at and celebrate."

"A slight issue when one of our items arrived with an allergen not mentioned in the description but staff immediately acknowledged the error and replaced the item. Fantastic service and the food was phenomenal! Would absolutely recommend Pisac to anyone looking for authentic Peruvian food in Toronto. This has become a favorite!"
