"The hotpot experience is quite interesting. It's a decent place to have hotpot in YK. The restaurant is well decorated and cozy. They only have 2 kinds of soup base for you to choose from and it's pretty plain. Fresh food and good service. They have a variety of dipping source for you to choose to go with your food.The downside is that the price is somehow quite expensive compared with the amount of food you have. I think it's quite high even for YK standard."

"The beer was cold and the waitress was excellent plus very informative. As it turned out the Black Knight seemed to be a very popular spot with the locals as the crowd increased in time. Compared with some other places in Old Town the prices were more reasonable for beer and food. As a bonus, we happened to be there at the same time that the band The Sheepdogs were practicing upstairs. They were in Yellowknife for a show later that evening upstairs and the sound was great downstairs in the bar. As for food the onion rings were good, unfortunately the chicken wings tasted like they had freezer burn. All in all a very pleasant experience."

"By far the best pizza in Yellowknife. Great thin crust, stone fired, Neapolitan style pizza with just the right amount of toppings and not greasy. They also do a delicious donair, schwarma and vegetarian wrap. The offer shisha in house and its a great experience. The staff is always very friendly and accomodating. I ordered delivery once and it took about an hour for my food to arrive and I received a phone call to let me know that it was going to take a little longer than they originally thought to deliver my food and the driver apologised profusely to me for it taking so long when he did deliver it. Another time I went in and ordered for 4 people and while I was waiting for the food to be prepared, the staff offered me samples of some of their dishes I was not familiar with and even sent me home with a doggy bag of one I really liked. Great customer service and great food. Its a no brainer for a quick meal"

"We stayed at the B and B upstairs and the breakfast in the cafe was included. We could order anything from the broad menu and did try different things each of the 3 mornings we were there. The breakfasts are delicious and generous in quantity and the coffee was excellent. There is an outside patio in the sun and you are close to the water and can watch the float planes come and go from 2 airlines which are on either side of the restaurant. The location in Old Town is very cool as well. We recommend this strongly for breakfast. Good restaurant!"
