"Excellent lunch where my dietary needs of gluten and dairy free were catered for with minimum fuss and confidence. Parsnip soup to start which was delicious followed by the salmon. Very pleasant staff and good value for beautifully presented food. So why is there a BUT — because sorbet was the only option on the menu for dessert that was suitable for me. Well done to everyone though."

".. but Tripadvisor don't allow that rating. Anyhow, I had the fish stew which had some well-cooked pieces of fish; had lovely prawns but also very chewy rubbery calamari rings; the sauce itself reminded us more of a few packets of passata poured on top so not recommended. My partners fish and chips were very good but nothing special."
