"Good food and friendly staff. I have read some of the other reviews and am surprised. when we went to the restaurant on a Sunday night and there were only a few other people. we sat immediately and found our host, monsieur pascale, very friendly and humorous. his daughter and the other waitress were very sweet and polite. my ham was tender, from the bone (although I didn't eat the fat part that some love) and the sour wort was too mild in taste, but we were in french. we would eat there again as we had a very nice experience and meal."

"One of the worst experiences in Alsace. It took some time to interact with the waiter and waitress. After that at 7 p.m. they told us that the article we wanted in the menu was oversold what was unacceptable. Only good at the restaurant was the atmosphere."

"The hotel is getting old and needs to be renovated in a few places, but it is all the more charming and authentic. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They speak French, German and English. The rooms and the restaurant were clean. The breakfast was quite extensive and very tasty. Refilled if necessary. There was ample parking, a bus stop, cafes and a large supermarket nearby. From there I reached many sights."
