"One of the best three course meals I have had in a long long time. Starters were very good, mains were very very good and puddings were to die for. Throughly recommend the take on beef wellington that they do. Prices were reasonable bearing in mind the current climate. Would give 6 stars if I could."

"Looking for a healthy alternative and found it here. The waiter was very pleasant and he talked us through the menu options. We settled on the rice bowl and beef, it was delicious. We will definitely return again."

"Visited the restaurant with my friend Richard to try their tasting menu. We arrived early to a very welcoming reception. Took our time reading through the very impressive wine list over a cocktail. The house “Samling Negroni” is delicious, I would recommend. We decided not to have the wine flight but asked Rebecca, the Maitre ‘d and sommelier, to choose two wines for us. She hit the spot with an Oregon Pinot blanc and a New York State Lemberger. Both suited the tasting menu very well. We then moved to the dining room, wow. Floor to ceiling glass with astonishing views of Windermere. Hard to look at anything else but the views when you are seated at your table The menu dishes were elegant and beautifully presented, well deserving of their Michelin star. We were looked after exceptionally well all evening and throughly enjoyed ourselves Also ask to see the owners art collection and wine cellar/ tasting room when you visit."
