"I knew this authentic hole-in-the-wall joint had to be delicious when I saw they had to reinforce the picnic benches to hold a little extra weight! This place is the real deal for authentic barbecue. Best in the Southern Tier. Unless you want to dine inside, no need to drive to Dinosaur BBQ. The wait can sometimes be a little long because this is a family restaurant, but absolutely worth it. I’m embarrassed to say I plan my trips through Whitney Point to coincide with lunch and dinner."

He got his whiskeys out for the tasting even if it was closed.Phil is a very nice ? guy and he talk about the history of his ancestors and showed us the book that John French wrote. We always loved earing stories about ancestors and how they started their lives in North America.Phil is a wonderful host and we really appreciated his hospitality last night friday 27 may 2022."
