"*As you will see in my letter, I am not inclined to write a review in a restaurant. My wife, son, father-in-law, uncle and I went to Allora on a neighborhood recommendation. I thank the person who gave us the tip! The service was excellent! The owners (from Italy) were there and made us feel at home. In the Italian tradition you are treated as friends and family. Even my young son was a welcome face that our hosts loved. That was the first thing we won. Next, the food was AMAZING. We had something different and couldn't stop the others from tasting our food. From my Gnocchi on my son's pizza, my wife's pasta, and two chicken dishes were all delicious! My father-in-law, a lawyer from Berkeley and Uncle, a dentist in Beverly Hills, were doubtful before we arrived. They were completely won by the staff and especially the food."

"The food was ok but they charged me for an item we didn't eat? because it was brought to the table when we were done?I didn't notice until I got home, they only had two waiters and the chef working (looks like they are on their last leg? for the whole place, and it appeared that they were sharing the valet with the Little Door across the street so it took 20 mins to get my car, when I asked about why it took him so long he said that they were very busy? mora only had 6-8 tables upstairs with dinners one table downstairs with dinners? I most likely I won't go back but they may not be in business much longer anyway.Update, the Manager responded to this review and said that they wanted to reach out and find out what happened? I sent them them the receipt and a way to contact me of course I never heard from them so I downgraded my review to one star, what was the point in responding?"
