"We went to celebrate a family birthday, so we obviously took our own atmosphere! The food was excellent, and the staff was attentive but not in your face. Took our own birthday cake, which was discussed beforehand, and they provided plates and utensils. Within the group, we had a coeliac and another with food allergies, so it was not the easiest group to cater for, all done with no fuss, and everyone enjoyed their food! Couldn't have been more pleased with our visit. All of us said we'd definitely go again! Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"We called at The Raven on our way home from Coed y dinas not having booked we thought we would just try it as we had been here before, the lady behind the bar was very polite and said we could sit anywhere that wasnt reserved, we ordered our meals and they came pretty quickly, we both thoroughly enjoyed them at very reasonable cost in a pleasant manner we look forward to going back there,"

"Visiting the area and hoping for a light bite and a coffee. A local suggested The Bay Tree as an alternative to the branded offerings on the high strret and oh boy, what a delight! Staff were so friendly and accommodated our needs effortlessly. The decor downstairs is quirky and fun, upstairs elegant with a contemporary twist on the art deco theme. The food... yum yum yum. We shared a plate of Welsh rarebit and a portion of parmesan truffle oil sweet potato fries with two Americano coffees. The food was absolutely delicious, and there is no doubt we will return when in the area again."
