"We came here for Christmas dinner. table was booked for 1.30 o'clock we sat and ordered our drinks, our 1st courses came about 15 minutes later. all were beautiful. 2nd curs came about 25 minutes later. again, eating was excellent. then we decided to wait for our desserts. more drinks and chat with the personal. service was fantastic. our desserts were also beautiful. all additional touches were fab. I couldn't blame. I would highly recommend this restaurant. that was our first time we had our Christmas dinner and I would go back tomorrow. thank you for making our Christmas day so unforgettable."

"Two of us ordered liver and onions from specials, but when ordering told they can't get the liver at the moment. So why on menu!!1 Another guest ordered battered halloumi with salad and chips, but also had a long hair in!!! They did replace meal but no offer of refund!!"

"After having such a wonderful experience at the Sunderland Branch last week we decided to revisit this branch which we have not been to since a bad experience in 2017. So desperately disappointed. Staff disinterested at bar. Even worse at the breakfast servery. Breakfast hash was not cooked through, hash browns one cooked perfectly the other cooked on outside not inside. Eggs yolks like bullets, white snotty and slimy. Bacon just about ok, mushrooms tasteless. Not once did any member of staff ask if everything was ok, clearly they know it’s not. Such a shame. Won’t go back ever again. Staff and food quality both need reviewing."

"Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They have items highlighted on the menu which are gluten free or can be prepared as gluten free. There is a dedicated fryer, try the fish and chips. The menu has improved greatly. Sunday lunches are popular in this establishment, very difficult to spot which one is gluten free, GF dinners get the best Yorkshire puddings."
