"Very charming and romantic location in an old stable with good local food and very good local giant from the vineyard that belongs to the restaurant. I recommend the liver dump and if your visit is in the right time of the year, you should enjoy the white asparagus with scavenger and sauce Hollandaise."

"Had a very nice meal at gunsmiths during a recent trip to Bad Durkheim. It was cold and rainy, but the restaurant was warm and friendly and almost full on Thursday night. It seemed mainly locals. The food was typical German food... but well prepared and very tasty. They also had some beautiful local wines. The staff was friendly, friendly and helpful. Recommend this restaurant as a comfortable place with good food, good wine and good staff. Will be back."

"Die urige Weinstube mit dem schönen Innenhof liegt etwas abseits des Stadtzentrums.Hier kommen Sie nicht zufällig vorbei-, sondern diese schlichte Weinstube müssen Sie gezielt aufsuchen. Diese Art von Weinstube ist im touristischen Bad Dürkheim inzwischen eine Seltenheit geworden. Hier werden noch günstige Weine zu ganz hervorragenden Speisen angeboten.Auch der Räucherofen im Hof zeugt von nicht alltäglichen Angeboten. Die Spezialität sind hausgemachte Bratwürste, die in sehr interessanten Varianten angeboten werden: Zum Beispiel Handkäs- oder Chiliwürste. Der Klassiker Rumpsteak mit Pfannenröstzwiebeln und Bratkartoffeln wird in bester Qualität zu sehr günstigem Preis serviert- genau so muß ein gutes Rumpsteak aus der Pfanne schmecken! Auch so traditionelle Pfälzer Gerichte wie Blutwurst-Kartoffelpfännchen sind eine gute Empfehlung für Freunde deftiger Regionalküche. Wo sonst gibt es noch hausgemachte Wurstwaren und leckere Bratkartoffeln in dieser Qualität?Wir waren jedenfalls sehr froh diese kleine Weinstube mit ihrem gastfreundlichen Besitzer endlich entdeckt zu haben, und wir werden ganz sicher wiederkommen."

"On the occasion of my wife's wedding day and birthday, it should be a special menu tonight. We both wave between Ketschauer Hof and Deidesheimer Hof. At the end it became a belly decision and we ordered a table in the “Black Hahn” of the Deidesheimer Hof on Saturday night. The Deidesheimer Hof already plays the top league of gourmet restaurants in Germany with its “Black Hahn” restaurant. The restaurant is located in the basement of the hotel building. The cellar is not disturbing. Under the old vault there is a very bright and light ambience. The tables are pleasantly airy and prevent a narrowed impression. The perfectly covered tables received us after. In the evening the service was performed perfectly by all operators. You have to get used to the kind of Sommelier Andreas Weber. Here was a little irritating in the service of tonight. My wife and I chose two different 6 menus. I ordered my menu with the proposed wine tasting. So my wife also asked for accompanying wines for your menu. The card did not suggest that. The young lady who picked up our order pointed out that it would not be possible to use two vines. And asked if we agreed to serve a common one. We were a little irritated, but basically we had nothing to do with it. But that was what Mr Weber had when he asked for our wine. Our reference to the order triggered head shakes and the remark that this was not possible on Saturday night. Mr Weber then seems to be in agreement with the service. But not with us anymore. The wines that were then served to the menu were completely satisfactory! Mr. Weber baptized and served us even more than 7 wines, as he offered several alternatives to the individual courses during the menu. A very nice, well-tuned and creative selection of wines accompanied us through the evening. We are still surprised at this stumbling stone, but in view of the wines served at the time, we have no more criticism. But why are there no accompaniment for both menus? So the food was ordered, I count here the 6 courses without the various additional Amuse Geules. This would blow a small frame. Perfectly prepared courses were served throughout the course. A few details remained particularly in memory. The cauliflower of Tajine was an absolute highlight, I was allowed to drink with my wife. Perfectly cooked, so simple, so brilliantly good! The cold smoked aal from my menu was another highlight of the evening. Rehrücken and Gans were perfectly cooked. It was a fun and an anticipation on each other. Impress the desserts. I'm not a lover of sweet menus, but I liked them unrestricted. An extralob. At first I regretted not to have ordered a cheese dish at the view of the cheese car, but at these desserts I did not miss a cheese later. It would have been hard to take him. The impressive chocolate car almost slept until the end of the menu, but you still took the seductive look. Such an evening has its price and if you have to pay 400 EUR for one night on two in the restaurant, the price-performance ratio is the decisive size in the rating. What we would do with the end. The restaurant could meet its requirements and offer an appropriate return at the price. We had a nice evening. Absolutely recommended."

"My wife and I were allowed to be guests in this restaurant yesterday, as I am still thankful with the feeds and corresponding weeps, the next days follows another commentary with beautiful pictures. yet at this place a special thanks to the entire team an outstanding interplay of top products, an exceptional and very attentive service. thanks to the artists in the kitchen and the other star follows safely."
