"Quick lunch and loved it. In Homewood between Dr appointments and tried O’Carrs and loved it. Mary served us and we were in a hurry and she was efficient. Chicken salad with mixed greens hit the spot and wife throughly enjoyed gazpacho and pasta salad. Mild shakes looked super but we didn’t have time. Will go back for sure."

"Favorite Burger in town. Love, love, love Sam's. The food is fantastic, especially the french fries, burgers, and omelettes. The mint tea is a delightful refreshment on a hot day. I am moving from Homewood soon and the main reason I will miss Homewood is not able to eat at Sam's. Also, the staff and owner are fantastic. So kind!!"

"I think there is a Downtown Homewood trifecta Savage's Bakery, O'carr's Restaurant and O'Henry's Coffee Shop. At Savage's, I highly recommend the sugar cookies and the smoke drops. Both are delicious! I'm sure everything else is good, but these are my favorites."

"Didn't have the Jalapeno cheese bread for the Southwest Chicken Club. The artists did not seem to know how to make their own sandwiches. And her well drinks were broken. Not a subway I would visit again."

"Nice take on middle eastern cuisine. On my first visit to the Onion I had the gyro plate and it was delicious. It consisted of a side of fruit (pineapple and orange slices); hummus with pita bread; a small side salad (garnished with a ring of purple onion) and a substantial pile of slices of nicely seasoned gyro meat on a bed of wild rice. With a bottle of water it was about $12. Everything was very tasty and fresh. The menu also includes burgers, baked potatoes and standard non-greek type sandwiches, so there's something for everyone. Service was fast and friendly. A great little spot!"
