"Great food, great service one complaint: Prices are very high for the amount they give. Quality wise is definitely excellent, staff very nice and clearly tries their best. Most of the restaurant was empty when we arrived, but we did come at an odd time.<br/ <br/ Worth a try for sure!"

"My favorite tom ka gai soup. Its not too rich but is full of flavour which is why i love it. Also love the yum woon sen noodle #7. Thai Noodle Salad and a great value."

"I can’t speak for the others that gave a good rating but I did not have a great experience. Ordered delivery and was disappointed at how small the portions were. Standard takeout boxes were maybe 80% full. The signature Aroy D curry dish was a small 375ml container (1.5 cups I measured) and chicken was dry will say the curry flavour was good in this dish though. Beef in pad gra Pao was dry and chewy. Rest of these items maybe a personal preference thing but vegetables were on the undercooked side, and pad thai was extremely sweet and lacking in any other flavour."

"Authentic and Delicious. I've just returned from living in Bangkok. Lanna Thai is the closest thing I've found to the true flavours of Thailand. I've been on numerous occasions and never been disappointed. I took a Thai visitor last week and they raved about it.<br/ <br/ Best of all, the owner/chef is a delight. She does all the cooking herself, and prepares everything from scratch (including even ice cream sometimes). She used tomatoes fresh her garden when they were in season.<br/ <br/ Because it's all from scratch and she works alone in a small kitchen, it can sometimes take a while. Also the food comes thai-style, ie it's brought out when it's ready, not in any fixed sequence of courses.<br/ <br/ I like the larb gai and the gaeng hung lay, but I've also enjoyed some other northern dishes I had not tried in Bangkok. All delicious."

"I ordered food to go and I found an eyelash in my food when I got home, so I had to throw it in the garbage. They refused to replace it for me however when I came back the next day. I was very dissatisfied with the food and the service. I would not recommend as a place to spend your money."

"One of the longstanding Thai restaurants on Davie is Thida Thai which opened in 2004. Over the years, I have dined at and had takeout from Thida Thai. I was first introduced to Thida Thai in 2009 by some friends who had dined there previously. A group of us decided to together one weekday night to try out their food for dinner."
