"The Überlinger Rathauscafe is located in a central 1a position in the picturesque, picturesque city centre, overlooking the Markplatz and in a traditional building that apparently houses a market hall in the Middle Ages. In front of the house you can sit very nicely on rustic wooden benches on long wooden tables, beautifully shaded under huge, inviting market umbrellas. However, those who enter the guest rooms of the town hall cafe will first remain the spit away from the outrage of these architecturally simply elevated rooms. Probably we are here in the town hall cellar. On the left wall we see a exposed ancient fresco. In addition, a wall-filling image, on the right side, among others, an oversized photo of an orchard. Great, unique set-up mix! Between lower leather armchairs, comfortable sofas, small tables, skillful, indirect lighting and (satisfied! quite a lot of diffuse light and slobby darkness. Almost you feel like in a church or a monastery. The natural materials used (severe wood, high-quality textiles, solid leather, cool stone, however, convey something like soil resistance and earth connection. At the same time, one has the feeling that one could also be in Rome or Los Angeles or Barcelona... at the very front, once crossed, an impressive counter, over which the food and drink offer hit on large plates. Here you can mainly eat cuts from natural sour pastry bread with various dishes as desired: egg, cheese, sausage in different variations, also sweet bread spreads, also salad variations. This reminds me of the Vesper culture in my childhood. But many of the local guests are only amazed – or come here to have their rest to read, chat, write a text. In addition to me, a girl under 20, who devotionally divides her occupied bread with knives and fork, and at the same time she probably smells in a narrow novel. Just love! We're just drinking. Outside it is clear to hot, here there is pleasant cooling and seclusion. In the cafe of the town hall, you have to give up your wishes at the counter and can then usually take the order on a tray to the table. The hot drinks are delicious, the cappuccino wonderful creamy, the espresso strong and slightly nutty in the finish. I noticed that you like to drink tea in big glasses. Also ice cream and cakes and small treats (like cookies are available. Everything looks noble and like beautiful living. However, not quite cheap. By the way, the dishes are removed by the service forces and this is very reliable and prompt. To me, the service staff was friendly and nice. However, when a Swiss tourist couple came in and took a few photos, it was exhorted to not take pictures of the employees (they were probably more random and quite marginal with them – the atmospheric kick is more in the ambience and the furnishings. A corresponding shield already points to this at the entrance door. This takes the place its charm, but I have experienced something similar everywhere on Lake Constance. The gastronomics obviously have to turn. For this, the local toilets are mega-treated, very clean and surprisingly also kept bright and cheerful. I find the extensive book corner with cookbooks, garden books, gift books. I wasn't quite sure if a bookstore was connected. However, one can leave and smear in it without standing. Price plates are also on it. And there are some products to buy and take away, such as a small beacon (a super gift . Only manko: the place is only open during the day, unfortunately not in the evening. Regrettably. Just then it could become an absolute in-location: as a bar, as a lounge bar, as an event location."

At the entrance there are parking spaces and directly at the parking lot at the manor harbour. Right at the mantle harbour there is a single disabled parking cabinet: is given, everything flattering, without stairs. With the public: Überlingen has 2 stations that are located a little further away from the center. But test the bar and then drive home by train, works well. By ferry: arrival from Konstanz or Meersburg is possible. Attention: Depending on the season: Some offers will always be terminated from the beginning of October. Drumherum: A walk through the old town of Überlingen, the church and many shops are always worth it. With the excursion ships you can reach the island of Mainau or Konstanz."
