"So sad that this was last Fry Po Boy at this fantastic restaurant. Fairly certain if I ever make it to NOLA I would not be able to find many restaurants as good as Lasalle's. This place will be sorely missed."

"The food was upstairs. Starter was bacon jam, I had the smoked fillet. Lachs was excellent minus the Aubergine. Server was excellent. Happy person..."

"First time eating here and I must say that I was throughly impressed. Great service and the wings were some of the best that I've had. I had the Lemon Lepper, Golden Hurricane, Oklahoma dry rub with Honey Sriracha seasoning on my fries. All delicious but the dry rub and the fries were my favorites. I think I found my new wing spot!!!!!!"

"Good Beer Selection, but Bad Everything Else. Went there on a Friday night around 10PM.

It takes forever to order a drink. There was no one providing wait service and the bartenders behind the bar were overwhelmed and only focusing on one small area.

The fries that everyone raves about were cold, chewy, and over-salted.

The communal seating is mostly just annoying. Also, there's way too little of it.

The bouncer at the door didn't really fit the place. He looked like a wannabe thug. Perhaps he was there as part of some court-ordered community service.

Essentially, this place is trying to exist and succeed solely on it's selection of import beer. Management is under the false impression that having a lot of German beers somehow excuses the fact that everything else about the place is below average."

"Very very friendly and knowledgeable. Gave me great advice and had no problem letting me have a little sample to try some so I knew what I wanted. A little pricey but worth it for good cheese. Oh and they have a cool thing they do with charcuterie boards."

"I had the spanish omelette and it was great. The place has an old style diner look and feel to it. Not the type where it was ok intentionally done to be trendy, but the type that if it weren't for the flat screen tv on the wall you'd think you'd stepped back in time. I'll definitely be back."

"Better take cash with you.... Went here one time, and I was the only person in the group who had cash. years later I still haven't been paid back Places that aren't card friendly are a little out-dated and may eventually want to expand into the century unless you make the world's greatest burger, which they don't."
