"I came here for the first time today with my friends. they got the all day breakfast and decided that the sausages were mid but the eggs were good. the issue for me is that it is decent food but it’s just diner food and is not worth the price they charged. i got the salmon gavlax salad and it was a half a plate of leaves with a dash of dressing. not worth 15 dollars at all. the food took close to an hour to arrive but we didn’t really notice since we were catching up until i realized there was no food coming out that was ours. crazy amount of time to wait for a salad and breakfast plates. do yourself a favour and go somewhere else for brunch. 2 stars because the food was decent and the staff were nice. maybe they were shortstaffed today but it was frankly disappointing."

"I saw a sign that said all day breakfast so we decided to head to Mars Diner. It was a cozy little diner. It looked like it was from the late 50s with its red colored seating and metal counters. All that was missing were waitresses on rollerblades dressed in those poofy poodle dresses. I would love to wear one of those poodle skirts for fun. "Great food at great prices. The new location at Mt Pleasant Rd has fast become a favourite local breakfast gaff. The $4.99 special is ridiculously good value. The food is always cooked to perfection I love getting my home fries, eggs, bacon, toast and cup o' joe. I brought my brother along who lives in Sydney, and he couldn't get enough of the place. Coming from a country where breakfast will set you back $20 a plate minimum, they wanted to take Hazel's Diner home with them."

"We had a chicken soup with less than a spoonful chicken and a horrible salad that looked like a kindergarten child prepared it, both horribly overpriced. No idea where the good reviews come from. Photos are misleading, its an old, shabby place."
