"Buyer Beware!I recently tried the Back Bacon Egg n’ Cheese at the Eglinton station branch. While the food was freshly prepared, it was a bit on the cold side.I observed some actions by the owner that raised concerns for me, such as pre-entering tips on the POS and requesting cash despite having the POS available.Although I understand the delay with Interac, the repeated pre-entering of tips was unsettling, though the owner did ask for the total amount the second time.I also found the dine-in experience uncomfortable due to the limited seating – only one small table with an uncomfortable chair. This may not be suitable for those looking for a cozy dine-in setting."

"I ate here 3 times in my 6 day visit to Toronto. I could happily work my way through the whole menu. The soups were delicious and I LOVED the platter with special bread and a variety of dips. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient. Would absolutely recommend this little gem!"

"We love the original Fresh Burger in Richmond Hill and decided to visit their downtown location. Initial impression was fine - the place seemed like it needed a refresh but they have booths whereas the Richmond Hill location only has tables and chairs. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a rocking problem with the seat cushion in our booth so we switched to another. The table in the second booth needed wiping as there were remnants of fries left from an earlier patron. We got a serviette to wipe off the food from the table, and after doing so, the serviette was extremely dirty - like black! Yikes! The burgers are truly great but staff should be paying particular attention to ensuring that the eating area is well maintained and clean. We will continue to go to the Richmond Hill location, but will probably think twice about this Toronto location."

"I took my 95 year old to high tea. It was so disappointing. All the food served was stale and not fresh. The scones were were hard and more than day old. This was quite shocking for Holts cafe as I've dined there many times choosing delicious food off the menu."

"I don't remember when was last time when I enjoyed so much food! It's not your ordinary take out spot. The atmosphere of the place, open concept (and very clean kitchen, freshly done food, and oh gosh soooo delicious and different then usual dishes, makes you feel like you just experienced fine dining restaurant, but within only few bucks in your pocket : It's a must on Toronto map to try it out!"
